Please be aware that the play equipment in the front of the school is not safe for children to play on. This equipment will be relocated and replaced at the back of the school when the new build is completed.
There are signs up to reinforce this and the children have all been told, please help us to keep the children safe by keeping them off of this equipment.

Yet again there are parents parking inconsiderately at the beginning and end of the school day. People who behave in this put lives at risk. Please use the car park at the village hall and help us to make sure that no-ones child is hurt in a road traffic accident.

We have head lice in school again!
Please check your child’s hair and treat as appropriate. A fine tooth comb and conditioner are the best treatment.
All children with long hair MUST have their hair tied back whilst they are in school.

This week is Science week in school. The children will be doing a variety of experiments and activities over the course of the week. Years 5 and 6 will be visiting Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on Tuesday and Mr Bungay will be coming into school to show the older children some investigations. There will be an opportunity for your children to share their work with you on Saturday morning. Do try to join us for this activity.

Red nose day is coming up next week. School Council are in charge of the day as we ask the children to wear something funny for money!

Don’t forget to bring in an Easter Egg for the Easter Egg raffle in exchange for an out of uniform day this Friday.

Please remember school uniform should be worn by all children, unless there is a specific non-uniform day. An increasing number of children are wearing variations or tops and trousers that are not school uniform.
