St James' Year 5s had a brilliant time at our newly introduced residential! Youlbury is a fantastic Scouting Activity Centre, that provided our children with a range of great experiences from swinging through the air, climbing, developing team work, singing round a camp fire and staying in their brand new accomodation.
We had a fantastic turn out at our recent new phonics scheme launch - 'Little Wandle Letters and Sounds'. Inkpen, Rosen & Nichols Class all performed a favourite song brilliantly! Mrs Hatcher then spoke with enthusiasm about the new scheme and the excitement the children were already showing around becoming brilliant readers and enjoying the beautiful new books!
