Respect Perseverance Trust

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of parents and carers over the past week.

Below is a picture of the food donations that were made towards our Harvest Festival Celebrations – I’m sure the Food Bank in Wantage will be able to put all of this to great use, helping families in our community who have less than we do.

Equally the ‘Send a Cow’ donations reached an amazing £130. This means that not only can we send a cow, but also a donkey, a kid, a beehive and two cockerels.

Bishop Gavin (Bishop of Dorchester) joined us in school on Thursday to officially bless and open The Peace Garden. The rain held off just long enough for the ceremony to take place outside.

A massive thank you to the PTA and all contributors whose generosity has enabled us to have a place in school that the children can access to be calm and peaceful and just ‘to be’

The Club@St James will be open over half term. If you would like to book a place for your child, please use the parentmail booking system.

If you pay for Club sessions using HMRC childcare vouchers, please email the Club when you have made a payment. This is the only company who do not message us with a notification of payment, so it makes it tricky if we do not know who has paid

We have seen an increase in the number of people parking outside school recently. We have also had a child hit by a car outside of school.

Please do not park outside school – use the village hall car park and walk the short distance to the school instead.

Thank you for helping us to keep all the children safe.
