The school day begins at 8.50am with the ringing of the school bell. Pupils line up in the playground in their classes and wait for their teachers to collect them.

In addition, we have a daily act of collective worship. Under County Policy, parents may withdraw their child from this after consultation with the Headteacher.
School begins at 8.50am. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children, they must not be left unattended on the school premises before 8.50am unless a member of staff has been informed. Once on the premises, no child may leave without the permission of a teacher. Any children arriving at school after 9.00am must be entered in the ‘Late arrivals’ book, kept in the School Office.

If your child wishes to cycle to school, we do have a bicycle shed at the front of the school. Please ensure that the bicycle is in good working order, and that your child has a safety helmet. Cycles/scooters must not be ridden across the playground before or after school.  Please ask you to make sure that your children get off their scooters and bicycle at the school gates and push them to the bike shed and not ride them in the school grounds.
