School Uniform

The school colours are navy blue sweatshirts with grey skirt or trousers and white shirts or navy blue polo shirts. Long or short trousers may be worn. During the summer the children may wear blue checked dresses.
School uniform is available to order online from Wovina.

How to order:
Go to Wovina’s website – and follow the online instructions
If you have any problems ordering online, please contact the School Office.
Swimming hats and drinks bottles are available from the School Office. There is also a small amount of second-hand uniform for sale. Please contact the school office for more information and an up-to-date price list.
As we like to keep our school looking as clean as possible, we ask the children to change into wellies at playtimes if they want to use the school field. Please make sure that these are clearly labelled with your child’s name.

Footwear
Children will need to have a pair of black shoes that they wear in school. These should be proper shoes and not plimsolls. They will also need a pair of trainers for outside PE and also for break times when the field is dry. As the weather turns wetter the children will also need a pair of wellies or similar waterproof boots for lunchtime and break time.

PE Kit
Children are asked to come to school dressed in their PE kit on the appropriate days.

  • Plain navy or black shorts
  • Plain white T-shirt (an additional school polo shirt is suitable)
  • Trainers for outdoor games/PE sessions
  • Tracksuit or hoodie (school hoodies are available to order from the office)
  • If you have a child who wears tights in the colder weather please put a pair of socks in their PE bag.
  • Long hair must be tied up for all PE sessions, so a hair band is also essential.

Swimming

For swimming, children need a one piece swimming costume or trunks, hat and towel. Bikinis, tankinis and ‘Bermuda style shorts’ are not appropriate.

ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD’S NAME

Valuables
The wearing of jewellery is actively discouraged in school. Earrings and necklaces are a particular problem and are a danger in physical education and at playtime. Any earrings worn must be studs and not hoops. All jewellery must be removed before any physical activity, such as swimming or dancing. Watches should be named.
Children are asked not to bring unnecessary money or valuable articles to school, and teachers are not responsible for loss or damage. All personal property should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.
MOBILE PHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED AT SCHOOL
