Making an appointment ensures that we can allow enough time to show you around, and will also give you the opportunity to talk to the Headteacher, class teachers and pupils.

By law, a child must start full-time education the term after their fifth birthday. In line with other Oxfordshire schools, pupils start full-time at St James school at the beginning of the school year in which they will be five.

Each child is invited to visit school at least twice prior to starting as a rising five. These visits are arranged with parents and school.

Older children may transfer to the school at any stage provided there is a vacancy in their year group.
